Just keep in mind that ETAs like the 2824 and 92 (and their variants)…

aren’t designed to be manually wound fully or often. Just enough to get them going, then let the auto mechanism take over as you wearing it.
They aren’t fragile in the true sense of the word, but they’re not as robust as other movements where design considerations were given to permit the option of manually winding it more than is sufficient to get the seconds hand moving.

I noticed that my wife’s yatchmaster 1 has a particularity when you wind the watch manually, sometimes you feel the rotor spin. I have never felt it with other Rolex watch I have and this freaks me out a bit. How concerned should I be?

I have experienced that once

By error the cutch wheels had been lubricated. What I know is that when they do not disengage the rotor spins. In the case I know about the oil made the clutch “stick”. If it’s up for regular service soon, maybe now is the time. What prevents it from dise...

I have had similar experiences with ETA 2892

(aka keyless works) and it’s amazing how tiny and flimsy they are, compared to our big fingers. It’s no wonder you can sometimes get stuck “between” crown positions 0, 1, 2 or 3 ...

That’s why we have a loupe and tweezers.

My favourite part is the 1,.2 x 0.45 mm screw fr the click spring.

How worried should you be?

What you describe here is creating some substantial wear, so I would not wait too long.
