I thought all Rolex increased their value
Well I suppose there is always an exception to the rule. I wonder if even with laser welding and a proper refinish if this poor example can be restored or saved or is now pretty much worthless I doubt a mugger would even bother stealing this one what a waste. But I suppose if the owner is happy with the result that's all that matters.

My rule of thumb is no matter how bad never, ever polish or refinish a watch case. I know some may disagree. But I prefer the organic decay of the case lines and dents and dings to a refinishing any day.
