His quote was "nice dial but otherwise even more hideous in person" - you two have polar opposite takes! That's what makes watches fun too - one's favorite is another's dud.
i picked up the watch today...
it had a certain fascination in the shop ...but in the end i find it really ungainly und will return it 2morrow ...
