After searching I pulled the gun and bought my son this Explorer for his 30th birthday Since he lives in Europe we had to unpack the box via video and tonight he will get the watch during dinner back home ...

I think you picked the perfect watch for a fine young man. I have the same one and it is and it is a keeper. Understated, with a simple and strong dial. Rugged and with a proud history. To me, the best proportioned case in the current Rolex collection. Ha...
