I never though much

about watches that have a chronograph
function. A few years ago I bought a Patek Philippe 3970. That watch was my Dailey wearer for quite a while.Once I actually owned a watch with a chronograph, I found a lot of of use for it. I timed things and came to wonder how I ever functioned without a chronograph. Itβs a pretty great thing to have on a watch.
Now my Dailey wearer is a Patek Philippe 5320 with a Perpetual Calendar. I switched over to it because itβs a little easier to read than a 3970.
I think the Perpetual Calendar is my favorite complication. I also appreciate the Moon Phase.

..differences has never been a problem for me. Have very little use for chronograph. I like perpetual calendar for the sheer ingenuity of it. Minute repeater is lovely but a novelty. So I concur with you that the alarm is the most useful

I gotta go with dual time, WT, or GMT. As a person who still has families on the other side of the world, it is nice to look at my watch and imagining their activities over there π.
+1 for alarm

Hands down, for me it is the alarm. GMT/dual time/world time is useful..

Only if you do, and can travel frequently. Chronogrpah, I have two of them, but almost never use them. Being older, I start to easily miss/forget something, for which an alarm watch is very useful. I can use my phone as an alarm, but I miss the reminder a...
