I like the looks and it fits the lugs very nicely.

As my wrist is thin, I often cut straps to size, if they are the right material.

I trimmed rubber and NATO straps in the past (nice clean cut with a sharp knife and you can even round the corners and edges if you have a delicate touch). Does not look as good as new, but close enough for me.
If you do try, first do it longer than you need (practice run) and only then to the final length. Even better, practice on a cheap spare band if you have one.

See below an example on a cheap diver strap - not perfectly even but you don't really see it during daily wear.

My Everest strap cake today, and I’m just as impressed as when I tried them out at Worn & Wound’s Windup fair. My only gripe is that the tail is a tad long, and it annoys me a little that it sticks out the way it does. Has anyone trimmed theirs with an X-...

I agree about the tail being annoying.

Did you consider the rubber B straps? Apparently, they can incorporate the folding clasp that comes with the watch, so there is no tail issue. That’s what their website portrays, but I have no personal experience with them

Clearly you have extremely high standards, because your strap looks perfect to me! I still have a ways to go to meet your knife skills, but this is the result of taking an X-Acto knife to mine... ...

Looks great

Maybe we should be surgeons?

Try reversing the strap with the long end attached at 12.

I wear my straps this way and enjoy seeing the tail peeking at me on the inside of my wrist. And, it's not so noticeable to others. In addition, I think the fit is better (on my wrist at least) as the watch sits more centered on my wrist. Just something e...

Great combo! [nt]
