I have an Explorer 1 from about 10 years ago. I use it often when i go abroad. Plain. Simple. Reliable. Bullet proof. One of a number of great travel watches for me.

I have this model in white; it positively reeks of integrity.

I am considering selling my Explorer 214270 to get this one instead, either with the black or black dial. I like the rounded bezel on the OP39 much better than I do the flat one on the Explorer, which appears too wide

But I’ve yet to conclude which version is the nicest. The black, white, grey slate and blue sunburst all look great.

Black or grey dial ??? It's a " black grey" dial .... ...
