I feel exactly like you

My vintage (i.e. plexy) Rolex models spend all their time in the safe as they no longer fit my daily activities. My Explorer II 16570 is s much better fit for that, and although it's market value has been increasing, it's not at a silly level where I would think twice before going to the gym with it.
In the current range, there are very few models I actually like, especially in the professional line. The true gems, in my view, are the Oyster Perpetual line and the current iteration of the Datejust 36mm.
I went for a blue 126200 DJ, but could easily have gone for the very same model you picked. It's a great, no frills daily wearer with a very handsome dial.

Love that 3-6-9 dial.

A simple watch, suitable for most anyone. I've decided that there are few complications I really "need". GMT function is useful for me, no need for a chronograph, moon phase, depth gauge or most other functions that don't come to mind as I type this. I'll...
