Avoid pre-owned watches unless you have to have it and there's no other way... Avoid Chron24 unless you have to have it and there's no other way. I don't know where this seller is from, but if this is from Chrono24, then I'd definitely say one cannot buy ... 

DD36 in WG from 2017 sold as brand-new ;-)

If it's new inventory coming from an authorized Rolex dealer, you're safe. You just have to be certain you like it!

A quick google would confirm for the model in question.

I could not find anything on www so asked the question here.

This sort of mix up between models is typical of a certain kind of faux replica.

To update, oyster was available on fluted bezels.

I have the same bracelet but in yellow gold. It came on a 36DD with a domed bezel made in 2000 (P series). These configurations are not common for DDs, but they are out there. I personally prefer this look, hence why I bought mine .
