I very much like that you take a stand, positive or negative, about new releases and choices made by Rolex, especially because you clearly like the brand. Too often today, people do not understand that being "polite" does not mean not taking a definitive stand and expressing one's opinion.

And for the record, I love my Pelagos LHD -- the ultimate diver tank tool watch for me.

Happy April!!

Rolex leftie

I applaud the sentiments behind a new leftie After all Rolex has a history of making leftie’s But to be so bloody lazy in not having the date in the right position is inexcusable Even Tudor made an effort ...

Hmm! Good point!

The question now is... Which area do lefties prefer to have the date? At 9 or at 3 o'clock? Maybe some lefties prefer the 9? It would stick out of the shirt cuff if you were just checking for the date.

Ha!

I guess if you are a lefty and wear it on the right wrist, it makes sense. But then, 90% of the population is right handed, and the date is simply in the wrong place, as one will have to pull his cuff all the way to read the date if wearing it on the left...

Doesn't seem lazy at all. Worn on the right hand wrist, this is the correct orientation (equivalent to a watch worn on the left hand wrist).

It's those older watches pictured that seem lazy. Also, even if worn on the left hand wrist, it's just a design choice. You can argue that it's the wrong choice, but that doesn't make it lazy.

Exactly

Fully agree

This is a watch for left handed people. Meaning it is intended for the right hand. Meaning it is correctly placed.

No, ironically 🙂

Greetings, I'm looking at the new model

i am left-handed, and I understand the argument of beging able to set the crown at 9 especially if you wear the watch on your left hand. the cases above 37mm sometimes cause the crown to touch the base of the hand and bother, but if the idea is to avoid t...

Very harsh words at the end…

and to overlook so completely the point that on the right wrist it is exactly like a regular on the left might be assessed by some in the same manner. Very hopeful that one will find its way onto either of my wrists!

Not

Quite the opposite, maestro. They did the tricky work necessary to make it a true destro. Bravissimo!

Funny I’m a lefty and some of the people I know are lefties and we all have our watches on the left hand while I see so many righty’s wear the watch on right hand. But it’s called a lefty 🤔

Just a observation. For me this Rolex shows that Rolex is actually ready to move a little away from their original traditional watches which is good and bad. Good to be innovative Bad for timeless pieces as they become trend
