This one has crossed my path twice in the last year, and both times I passed it up.
But every time you post it I think again. It’s such an unusual piece, when it’s gone it’s unlikely we will see anything like it again.

A very cool watch
Un Rolex, just like the Milgauss....my only gripe is the thickness of the case which for a smaller wrist, it gets somewhat tiring after extended wear.
You know, i actually like the bezel size on the AK. I think it works better than on the Milgauss and the old Datejust II as the markers are just as thick. It makes for a compact look..
But not too compact that the dial elements look squished together. Love this watch. I don’t think they’re gonna discontinue this one and will probably introduce different dial colors down the road. Perfect line to experiment together with the Milgauss. Ex...
I think it will remain the quirkiest Rolex of recent times for long....
I recollected trying your watch...I must say, it is very compelling when one see in metal than pics ! with the Milgauss case & movement, it offers anti-magnetism to a level (not like Omega) - albeit Rolex don't claim it anywhere. Best, mahesh.,
I do feel after few months Rolex will silently put an Explorer II without making any noise...
