During our parisian GTG in December, I had the opportunity to finally see the GMT MASTER Meteorite. Good or bad idea, I still don't know, as this watch convinced me so much that I will put it in my wish list! The dial has to be seen in the real life to fu...

I see these (a bit bling) meteorite dials however more at home with watches like the Day Date. My favorite version of the modern GMT is still the white gold Pepsi with oyster bracelet and black dial.

The hour markers look great against the meteorite dial.

Initially it wasn’t a hit in my books, but after seeing it in the flash I was impressed. Off course I’m a bit bias since the GMT line is one of the lines I collect, but this one is really unique. Now getting one is another story... But one can always drea... 

I have been patiently waiting to receive one so I hope will be a short wait from here on but I guess that does not depend on me :-(

this GMT looks great. For me the best GMT from Rolex. I can fully understand why you fell in love (and accept the date window in this special case 😉) Amitiés Thomas

Unfortunately I have had zero luck even getting on the mythical waiting list at an AD to acquire one! Never really liked the black dial GMT and not so sure on the blue - meteorite however, definitely for me.
