what do you think about this new Tudor ?

First time I saw it I thought, nice but probably not for me cause I prefer their black bay ( more sporty watches ) Looking a bit closer at it I started to enjoy it a bit more And when I saw the price I almost could not believe it. steel bracelet, Day-Date...

++1. Same feelings. Tudor is perhaps crowding it's catalogue...

Rolex perhaps is pitching Tudor as entry level Swiss watch to take market share in that category from Swatch group by providing good options at affordable level IMHO.

Same taste

I noticed we have similar taste on many watches. Albeit, the Tudor is not a bad watch.

The case shape, why not - oysterquartz-like

But the engraved bezel, roman numerals and bracelet make it look like something from the 80s... very busy design. I feel the quality of Tudor's hands is a bit of a let down but good price point so can't really complain. I would personally stretch the budg...

It doesn’t look bad, but frankly, I’m not sure this is the best choice for Tudor at a time when it’s really making a name of its own, perhaps even starting to compete with Rolex...

I can understand the motive behind a low price a bit better (as usual, attracting new/younger folks by entering a new segment), but perhaps going as low as 2.2k is too far fetched?😉 Thanks for sharing. PS: moving it to the Rolex forum not in jest, but bec...

It doesn’t look bad at all imho (according to the pics ) especially at that price point

They put an ETA movement in this rather that in house

That’s why the price is what it is. Not too interesting IMO

You're right, but to be fair, Tudor makes changes and enhancements to the ebauche.

It's not comparable, as I'm sure you know, to microbrands or even larger brands who might simply put a custom rotor on an ETA. They made changes to the Breitling movement they use as well.

Odd looking duck

It might grow a little on me, just like a face that only a mother could love

I like it a lot

Looks very nice indeed no problem with eta nice bracelet and well worth €2200 in my opinion.

Day date

Yes, Bruno, your Tudor is a bargain. 2200 euro’s is a bargain. My Classima is at that price level. Contains a simply Sellita. Tudor, mostly is at 3800-4500 what you said. A black bay, new, would be 4500. Many brands sits there, some beneath some above. Br...
