It’s a great watch when you see it physically on your wrist. The Deep Sea feels a little over the top in comparison. It just sits to high on the wrist. Both are great watches.

My choice is this... just feel more balanced on wrist, even tho the 2018 deepsea is an improvement to the previous version. Ken ...

But the main reason was that, at that time, I parted with Rolex, a decision I have reversed in the meantime.

It has got what a future classic needs to have: red writing (that will surely disappear and be replaced by a white one) and Mark dials additionally (mine is a Mark I). The Deepsea is nice, no doubt, but the SD acquisition is more pressing as it might disa...

The current dials have got "Swiss (and then the Rolex Crown as a) symbol Made". Imran has actually spread this news here.

I suspect if rumors posted are true about these models being short lived, either watch will be highly collectible in the future.

I could see in a very high magnification that the red printing is above a white one. This could be: a) to make the red writing more radiant b) the dial set up is programed for both colours already To me it is "clear as dumplings broth" ( German saying) th...

A watch I would not mind owning given the oppportunity... the deep is simply too tall and large on my wrist. But the dial is cool...

The visible updates are subtle but collectively make a big difference. Size and comfort work for me, in the abstract and when compared to other watches I enjoy wearing. Bracelet adjustability while on the wrist is brilliant, of course. Dial is more appeal... 

I got a chance to try both of these on at an AD... while there's no arguing that the SD Red is a perfect specimen, and preferable to a Sub--my issue w it is that it looks too much like a Sub. So, at a glance, you have 'a Sub' on your wrist... the Red is s...

I have had both versions and sold them already because the Deepsea is a bit too heavy, bulky, sits high on your wrist so you keep hitting stuff, but...I really love the black and blue dial, i love all the technology that have been put into it and i think ...
