Nico's consistent pictures was no doubt the tipping point. Personally, I think this is the most un-Rolex Rolex, and that's precisely why I love it. ...

Congrats!

I’m eyeing this model off as well. Very un-Rolex that’s why I like it too 😀

Why is it un-Rolex? I haven’t handled this model yet.

I’ve been asked 3 times in the last half day....

It doesn’t have the conservative Rolex language, and the strangely confusing (in a way that I really like) mix of minute numerals interspersed with hour markers which isn’t a very Rolex things, and the use of yellow and green on the dial, again not someth...

Thanks!

I could no longer withstand the pressure of all the Air-King owners here posting their nice photos and messages lauding the watch. So, I got mine last Friday, after “putting my name on the list” a scant four weeks earlier. And I, too, like it for its un-R...

Such a dangerous site, this is :-)

I guess when they say “you can’t go wrong with a Rolex”, they’re mostly right, but for me, only if it is one like this - off the beaten path with some dare-to-be-different attitude! Glad to be able to join you with this!

LOL! [nt]

Such a great looking piece! I have tried the Air King on more than once and am surprised I have resisted buying it. The 40mm Rolex seems to be the perfect size for me. I own the blue Milgauss and am VERY close to pulling the trigger on the YM 16622. That ...

We have the same tastes :-)

I have a black dial Milgauss, and came very close to getting the YM, but the cyclops bothers me quite a bit, so I ended up with a no date Sub instead, but ended up only wearing that one for a little over 2 months before it hit the safe and never came out ...

I don't love the cyclops either...

but can live with it on the YM 16622. That piece just speaks to me. I would prefer it to be a no date. But hey, even Nico has a YM. And from what I gather, he much prefers no date pieces. If he can live with the cyclops, I can too! The Sub is classic, but...
