Actually the plain bezel works best as it flows so well on a larger watch.

I always thought my ultimate watch was a platinum ice blue dial day date. The other day I had the opportunity to try one and I couldn’t pick up my arm. So much for that idea.😢

I happen to be wearing that watch right now (though with "diagonal motif" blue dial) and have been wearing it daily for the past few weeks, ever since RSC returned it to me. I've been alternating it with the DSSD. Below you can see pics taken a few minute...

Fluted bezel doesn't bother me in isolation, but in context I prefer the plain bezel...
