A pictorial comparison between the new 36mm Explorer a 36mm Oyster Perpetual

Well I managed to get a 36mm Explorer … what’s struck me was the difference in proportions between my wife’s 36mm Oyster Perpetual from the new cased Explorer. I will try to address the new 36mm size in a later post.

Congrats and nice comparison. Amazing what a 1mm difference in end link width along with slightly thinner lugs can make.

The new generation of OP36, which came out last year, has lugs that are noticeably thinner. Same thing for the DJ36: the newer references 126XXX have a more streamlined, less blocky appearance than the previous 116XXX references they supersede. I am 99.99...
