Getting neo-vintage pieces like this in decent condition can sure be tough. I actually obtained a white gold, black dial S37 in good condition for my wife recently, but things like this come up once in a blue moon. I hope you'll eventually get lucky and find one!

Yes, I feel the Sympathie really lost someting when they moved to a round crystal.
Nonetheless, the shaped crystal must have been a bear to produce, and I quail at what would happen if I damaged it. Replacement seems unlikely.
