Needs to be special

After so many great watches I will never be back to this toxic brand. The dead man walking of the watch industry. Good money spent on nothing... and no never been touched... looks like a flash shit

New my friend. However RD in Singapore not interested. I sold it on - made the damage clear to the new owner. Quality control with RD and service far below average... I now think of the brand as a cheap / bargain <5k fun purchase...

So why only bring this up now, after 2 years? Have we been having a few sherries this evening?

Moreover, why in those 2 years, if Singapore showed no interest in resolving what QC missed, didn’t you complain directly to Switzerland? It shouldn’t have happened, but even the great Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet manage to send out stuff that they ...

Interesting, you didn’t mention

You didn’t mention to me you noticed the defect and had already approached Roger Dubuis Singapore Before I purchase from you...

Someone wet their pants

Was just showing you what I have found. As you will appreciate the movement is very small - micro perhaps. Yes company’s and people miss things - it’s the service that fixes these issues. Much like AP when one of there ceramic cases cracked - but would yo...

On the contrary, my pants/trousers are bone dry, and for two very good reasons…

1) I’m not incontinent (yet) 2) I find it much preferable to quaff one’s beverage of choice, rather than wear it If the AP story you’re referring to is the one I’m thinking of, then I’m fully aware of how long it took and that it was sent to Switzerland f...

I am curious

if the movement had not been checked before the Geneva Seal was awarded!

2 years of poor ownership

Honestly I did not notice it until I had the chance to take micro pics of the watch - 3 months out of warranty. As I said before the Singapore boutique did not want to know about it... 5/10 and not again - RD for me is all show and no go!

Ah… now a fuller picture develops. So it was the boutique, not the service centre that displayed the poor aftersales attitude then.

Still, I’d have pushed for them to become interested, even if it meant having to speak with the factory directly, since this sort of thing reflects badly on them – not just QC missing it, but the poor showing from the boutique too. That said, I’ll bet you...

Definitely a clear oversight...

My experience with the brand has been... Inconsistent as well. I've got some problems with some other watches too.

Quick buck

Looks like someone is trying to flick it for a quick buck

Sorry to hear about your frustrating experience.

Given that these watches are all hand made, I think it's only natural that mistake do happens from time to time. What MAKES the difference is HOW it was handled and rectified. With that said, perhaps you can PM me w/ the details/specifics on your incident...
