Is anyone experiencing patina?
I’ve started developing patina on my H40 over the last few years.. I am a bit in two worlds with the patina. Is this a good thing or a bad thing ? Would love to see photos of your patina’d Roger Dubuis Hommages. Here’s mine (beside her “husband”): Cheers ...

Is patina on the case something undesirable or desirable? To that I can say there are mixed views on that. Secondly should it be removed, will this devalue the timepiece ? Patina is a natural occurrence, so any interference could be seen as negative ? Hap...
Maybe oxidation/tarnish, not patina my friend.
I have the same experience for some of my gold watches. You could easily polish it away using a gold polishing cloth like Towntalk. Hope this helps. Best regards

I agree with one of the earlier replies; it looks more like oxidation then anything else. It can happen if it’s stored in a relatively dark and moist box with little or no air ventilation. You should be able to polish it with soft cloth. If it persists I ...
That is really unusual and not normal.
I have never seen anything like this on a modern gold watch. It can of course be polished but still ....

I would not want to be looking at that.
I can only agree with the previous replies, that patina on the case of a modern reference just doesn't look good, it's a problem that shouldn't have occurred -- hardly something charming.
Hope it will be possible to fix this issue without altering/replacing the case ;-) Cheers.

ask to a watchmaker to look at the calibre as the oxidation is in regard to crown and pushers, IMHO. Cross fingers and keep your watches in a better safe place. Love your Dufourgraph ++++
