I think thats a fantastic idea, however I believe the way they distribute the work is R&P does the more complicated movements, while Vaucher does more of the 'mass market' stuff if we can call it that.
I know its completely different, but essentially an RM 12 without the tourbillon would be visually VERY similar to the RM 35. Yes, I know the 35 has a different case material and is a Vaucher movement, and has a solid caseback, but still...
Regardless, it would be a fantastic idea, one which i would definitely love! Although it would take me a while to get used to seeing my skin through a watch, hahaha.
WHAT IF...there was an RM12 like watch without the TOURBILLON
imagine having a watch that is identical to the 12 (for example) without the tourbillon which will make it substanially affordable to larger number of clients. i would love to be able to obtain a watch similar to the 12,38 and 009 in particular but ofcour...
