Simply amazing. Never expected to see the 27-01 in any other case besides the grey. The slightly thinner case makes it very special.

TPT composite material is not inherently expensive (as compared to precious metals). As far as I know they’re using a supplier which also makes considerably larger objects in the same material (masts). Correct me if I’m wrong.

I still prefer some of these earlier designs to the newer ones.

My favourite iteration of the 027 series remains the 027-01. I believe it was the first RM to have a case with 'horns' along the case side, and the granular feel of the case gave an almost understated feeling. The cable-suspended movement felt revelatory,...
