To quote the film Gladiator..

"Are you not entertained?"
I say that in good humour of course, but would argue that in the past 8-12 months, RM has unveiled high-end pieces which would be 3-year cornerstone pieces in any other brand.
In no particular order, new tourbillons
RM027-02 Nadal which can withstand 2,000 G's of force;
RM70-01 Alain Prost which has a totalizer for cycling
RM53-01 unveilved in January for SIHH with its suspended movement and shatter-proof dual-layered crystal
New limited editions of the RM52-01 skull in various NTPT colours and Pink Sapphire
New limited edition of the RM56-01 in brown sapphire
New limited edition of the RM50-02 Airbus in NTPT
Not to mention the new versions of the RM067-02 in exotic TZP quartz colours (coral, green, white, blue), and RM022 variants
I neglected to include the RM50-03 Mclaren tourbillon from last year's SIHH with the lightest tourbillon and constructed using graphene, as well as the new RM11-03 in black/orange released for the gorgeous Mclaren car a fellow Purist here has on order (jealous). While I recall you saying that 11-03 Mclaren was a missed opportunity (I tend to agree), it still counts as a new release.
I mean all of the above as a recap, and not intending in any way to be antagonistic - I enjoy wondering what is around the corner with RM as well.
I personally would love to see a new edition of the RM068 Cyril Kongo. That watch remains on my list of dream RM pieces, and to see an evolution of that sometime in the future would be very welcome. Do you have any pieces in your collection currently? Would enjoy hearing your preferred references and where you would like to see the brand go in the future.
