Truth be told, for the longest time I didn’t really think I’d ever like Richard Mille watches. My interest in them bordered on curiosity and nothing else.
Mostly because I found that I liked more modern-classic looking independents, such as FP Journe or Gronefeld, and I figured I couldn’t pull off a barrel shaped watch. (Maybe because I’m also barrel shaped. )
However, all that changed when I came across (Puristspro member) SteveH’s Ticktocking videos, in which he reviewed the Dizzy Hands.
Call me crazy, but somehow a complication that “can turn time off” appealed to me instantly.
For me, the watch is like an off-switch of sorts when I should stop watching the clock for the important things, like spending time with my family, or time in prayer.
Then it goes back to regular time when I need to go back into the world again.
(I only wish they made it in a white metal tho.)
Cheers Purists, I hope all of you are enjoying your weekend.
