Being a fan of thin watches myself, I already found out through Piaget and the latest nft Octo Finissimo that there‘s a limit to where I still find ultra thin sexy.

I love the standard Octo Finissimo and other thin watches. I prefer the 5402 and 15202 to other modern RO because it‘s thinner. But watches like this new RM are unwearable thin. For me, they take a good idea and they make something bad out of it by going extreme to the point where it‘s not about the good idea anymore, but purely about status, world record, the books. Well, maybe that‘s what RM is all about and it therefor fits them perfectly. But it‘s not my taste.

Completely agree

But it's still cool to see brands pushing the limits just for the sake of it.
I agree, past a certain point the thinness doesn’t appeal to me either

I have a 34mm JLC MUT and it’s about 5mm thick while the movement is 1.85mm. I find it close to perfect in terms of aesthetics and wearability/reliability. Piaget has a model that’s 3mm something, maybe 3.65mm and that might be as thin as I’d be willing t...
