Here're two more i tried on during my time in the Piaget boutique. i prefer the grey dial although i think they look better without the date window. ...

Beautiful duo, these meteorite dials are very charming and in a sense unique! In agreement on both counts (a slight preference for the grey dial, and a strong one for a no-date ;-) [nt]

Many times the watch in question looks “okay” with the date, but most likely better without. But on this piece it is absolutely, unequivocally, undeniably better without the date. All I can focus on unfortunately is that little white window... so sad. ... 

Is this a new or old piece? The hands look as if they've had a hard time on the watchmaker's bench. [nt]
