Piaget China 🇨🇳 LE vs Patek China 🇨🇳 LE !
Hi All,
I attended a Piaget/Phillips event for the Piaget China 🇨🇳 LE of which 20 pieces were made and already sold in China. This remaining piece with number 00/20 will be auctioned off by Phillips in Hong Kong during the auction on November 28 to 29th.
Naturally the watch to wear for this fun event was my 6000R for the 10th year anniversary which happened in 2015.
The green dial of this Piaget Altipano is very lovely and the “hidden” word Altipano as the hour marker is quite neat.
What do you think of both ?

Yes, it was a fun event with many people in the new boutique!

I Have one from each brand (love 'em both). You know what they say about the artistic quotient of anything... "dey ain't no tellin' for taste"...but for me the Piaget wins the style contest. The
Patek might win on absolute attention to detail and some aspects of quality, but how good is your loop?
I like and respect Piaget so it's an interesting watch to me.
I like the dial color, and the attempt at simplicity is nice. However, IMO the date and the star in the sub seconds seems to take away from the attempt at keeping it simple. I like the "Altiplano" as an hour marker. I would like to see this watch in perso...

Yes, red star is a naturally thought. The Chinese flag actually
has a yellow star just like this watch.
Oops, I should have clarified I meant a red dial
But the green is quite nice and very trendy now. Green dial and red star would be too much like Christmas even though it is approaching quickly!

Since this is a China LE, the yellow star ⭐️ was used because it represents the one on the Chinese flag.
