apealed to me. I like the readability, the hue of the dial, the blue rotor, the size. While there is a slight resemblance to a Nautilus with its brushed bezel with an inner softened TV shape, that's pretty much where the resemblance ends. One of the signature features of the Nautilus is the integrated bracelet and the S on bracelet also lacks that. To me the real problem with the Polo S is calling it a Polo! There is very little going on with the S to connect it to all the previous Polos where the biggest signature feature was always the bars going through the watch and bracelet, sometimes even the dial. They should have called the S something else and continued to make a "Polo" that looks like a Polo!  I feel its a stretch to call it a rip off of the Nautilus. Any "TV" going on with the Nautilus? The B&R BR-05 on the other hand is another story. The watch itself is not overly reminicent of the Nautilus but that bracelet and how its integrated into the watch pushes the overall design too far into Nautilus territory. I do think Piaget blew it by letting go of a unique signature design element in their lineup.

Maybe I'll just refer to mine as a Piaget S.

Purchased in 2007,this is by now the oldest watch in my collection...and it is a keeper. Still a modern and fresh looking version that I like better than the current Polo S model line. The watch bears also a dear memory to my father and this alone is a re...

Thanks,Nicolas.

I guess every collection needs a few pieces outside the general mainstream...

Absolutely! [nt]

It makes me angry that Piaget decided to abandon this unique design and then make a Nautilus clone.

Whoever decided this has done a disservice to Piaget!

Absolutely agree!

For me it is a crying shame what they have done with the Polo. Especially when you see how other brands have recently been able to successfully and tastefully modernize their "icons": VC Overseas,GP Laureato,Cartier Santos.

Agreed. [nt]

Unconventional choices makes and hold this community fruity. Not any bad words to famous and the best selling watches. I have a Seamaster 300 diver, thousands walk with it. But i have also an unconventional watch like you. The polo S, i spotted this watch...

Thanks for your comment.

The Polo S as such is not a bad watch. It is however just missing most of the original Polo design features.

Piaget should have named the Polo S the Emperador S (S=Sport) instead...

...as it actually resembles that line of watches more than the Polo. Also, if they had kept the bezel the same as or similar to the one pictured below and kept that bezel non-satinated, they would have had something uniquely Piaget and nobody would have e...

Love it! A very good looking and intriguing Piaget!

Nicely finished and the blackened gold is quite interesting as well. Always a fan of these more unusual watches!
