Piaget

I recently got one too, the previous version with the green strap and silver instead of rose gold indices/hands.

From what I understand (from collector friends/the sales people in Piaget) and observe online (FB watch groups/forums), the Polo S has been gaining traction over the more recent years and is considered a success for the maison now (from the rocky 2016 start). I saw on several occasions ladies wearing the Polo S too in Piaget boutiques (interesting I saw more men with Altiplanos and ladies with Polos or the very high end Emperardors) - seems Piaget's lady customers like large watches. The price point (assessible for Piaget) helped adoption too.

However, I observed online (limited sample of course) this seems to be more the case in Asian and middle east markets and seems to be less so in Western markets.

But then again, I think this is because our region is driving a lot of growth for luxury consumption in general so this could be correlated.

I have a lot of respect for Piaget since I bought my Altiplano in Feb this year and then my green Polo S recently.

Hope they continue to come up with models that excite us watch collectors!
