But it looks like to me, that the world of Leica, these days, is mainly about the looks of the camera the right strap, the perfect ageing and how it looks around your neck. Don't get me wrong, I love the build of the brand and have an M myself for holiday... 

with another kind of viewfinder, what makes it possible to make excellent macro shots.

I am no hard core fan of Leica. In fact, I just arrived at Leica today. This is my first picture with a Leica. Taken at full aperture with a 30 year old 100 mm macro R lens that looks new, fixed to a SL. Both arrived today. Both heavy. No, really heavy. I...  

I wrote to Leica to ask advice for static macro photos on full format, and they said this could be a good combination of camera and lens. Superb customer service, even for non customers. I had to get a converter from Novoflex. I'll post a few shots later ... 

Excellent for watch macro shots and all other subjects. In any case I would pick a camera with a tilt screen.

And the ugly logo on the Nocti - it’s a disappointment. The safari is superb though
