It was a week earlier this year, and already a bit past the peak... Very windy this afternoon, and lot's of leaves on the ground. Everyone in the neighborhood stops by for a photo... Canon 5D II with the 100mm Thanks for looking, Casey . ...  

Thanks for sharing this golden grass : Ginkgo is the only monocotyledons which is a tree others are grass !

I have been photographing this particular tree for the last 12-15 years... it's simply beautiful... Casey

it's located at the entrance to a temple and people stop by for photos and portraits... it's a community experience ; ) Casey

Here we're still behind in Catalonia... ...  

and sunny. Snow is predicted for Hokkaido... it's definately getting colder here. Casey

But temperatures are dropping!

That s quit a routine to return to same spot every year same time of the year. It could perhaps be interesting to make a collage of same tree year by year, see how it develops and grows. Like the 2nd photo a lot due to the perspective of lines of the roof... 

There are a number of temples on that street and it makes for a pleasant location for the daily walk... I like the different seasons... winter's my favorite. Casey
