The troublesome area is the middle just left of center that sort of unbalances the scene... the b&w version manages that area a bit better. The tree detail with light (white) background is excellent and IMO the key element. Overall the b&w gets th...

.... neither has any post-editing, but i could play with it i guess. What would you do to edit it?

That tree just left of center is just too small... and doesn't fill the space

resulting in that gray area that's out of place. You might try playing with the gamma slider to make the photo a bit darker to kill that gray area or even just crop out the top part from the middle of the "tree line' to make a panorama shot. The key eleme...

I agree with the comment regarding the smaller/sparser tree but I'm not sure how else to further improve it. I like the B&W pix. Very good effort overall. Cheers !
