They seem to find me

Spiderwebs have to attach at several points, whether they are geometrically perfect or a bit of a mess like this one:

But when this spider chose an attachment "point" he took on a challenge!

As I was working by the spider's web I "felt" someone or something watching me. As I scanned the area, I found the observer:

He adjusted his position and declined to leave, so I took a couple photos to show you his coloration

Very dark grey (in real life) but much more blue and irridescent in the photos. I was about 3 feet away from him for this photo.

The camera says focal length 247mm, F6.5, 1/640, ISO 100; slightly cropped

If I can get some video footage I can make one of those Fifties "Dinosaurs Rule the Earth" movies  ðŸ˜‰

Now changing gears but in the same yard, same day - do you prefer 1, 2 or 3 below?

Thanks

Good photos of your little lizard friend... I think you could go a little higher with the ISO so as to increase the shutter speed and freeze any motion... f/6.5 for DOF... 247mm is a unique FL... was it a zoom? Of the butterfly images, I prefer the first ...
