not a mushy peas person, every time we have fish n chips the wife always double checks, if I want them 🤣

Boat and ship beaching was common practice in many places around the Northern Mediterranean Sea not long ago! Now we have harbours every 10 Km and beaches are for sunbathing only!!! Regards, Simone

interesting to hear the similarities in the med with the beaching. In addition there were even lots of sunbathers here today too, but I doubt the water was as warm! Best D.

How do the tow them back out or does the tide come rise?

literally beach the boat landing craft style. The tractor (which you can just about see in the picture) drags it up the beach above the tide line. There are some drain pipe like tubes on the beach to drag it over. As for launching I assume a bit similar i... 

I checked out the boat on the beach, as you can see the hull has metal runners a bit like a sled to help it run up and down the shingle. ...

What a beautiful picture. I love how wide the shot is, the boat looks small, the beach looks huge/really deep and wide and it looks like the picture is taken from a higher vantage point?

You are right I was higher up on the breakwater, I was actually surprised by the depth in the shot as it was taken using my iPhone. I think the shadows of the morning sun really helped. Thanks for looking
