...we couldn't risk the 'end-around' because of my wife's work. We didn't see any beaches (though I now they are popular). But we did have something I recommend for a single reason...a cruise ship (very small) with fantastic air conditioning. In August in Cuba that's a big deal : )

Ah, now that Fernando mentioned it.. I'd have waited for a better subject although sometimes the scene is too nice and can't waitthat we just have to take what we can get. Also, maybe underexpose by a third or half stop as that light on the shutter ..

.. door can be distracting.. although, again, I also understand the overall exposure is spot on but maybe can be addressed in post. Apologies for the inputs, Q. I normally don't comment but I found the light/scene quite compelling

I was over

excited with the lights, the "rustic" building and the people. So happen not that many people passing that morning (if am not mistaken) I really do appreciate both you and Fernando speak up and give all of us here ideas how to improve and most important t...

I like the 'work in progress' aspect of the subject...

the condition of the sidewalk, the wall plaster in stages, the 1/2 open shutter... feels like an early Sunday morning. One could spend hours walking in that neighborhood... Casey

...we were there just after it opened to Americans. Kind of what I expected. Really nice people living under a terrible government. The best experiences and photos were when leaving the tours and exploring on our own.

Thanks MDG

...on order of Tokyo in the summer. The difference is, in Tokyo everything is air conditioned. In Cuba we went into only one building with AC. Getting back to the cool air of the ship and cracking open an ice-cold beer was nice : )

Very nice
