Even docked it looks like it's ready to spring into action ; ) Two years ago I photographed the おいらせ (Oirase) PM23, a "Tokara" class "Patrol Vessel Medium" (PM) that was berthed in Aomori City... I seem to be a ship-spotting mode... Casey ...  

I remember that image. The effect of the snow on the surfaces makes it pop with depth even more than it regularly would. Cheers, Filip

The Japan Sea is a challenging location to work... I was a bit surprised that it carried a complement of 30 as it didn't seem that big - shows how much I know about patrol vessels ; ) Casey
