Thanks Abel...

We had a couple of cameras floating around at the time... I was using a Pentax Spotmatic F, my dad was then using a Mamiya Super Press 23 (medium format), one of the Agfa Flex models (35mm format) with a wide angle lens, and a 5x7 Linhof Technika. My sister still has the latter two. Most likely these shots were done with the Pentax SP F and a 55mm... Kodachrome reversal film.

My Pentax was stolen in the 80s and about fifteen years ago I picked up another one... along with the SMCT 28 f/3.5, 35 f/3.5, 55 f/1.2, 105 f/2.8 and 135 f/3.5...  it doesn't get much use at the moment and I should sell it...  The lenses are great, the body, particularly the finder, is so-so by today's standard.

The '46 Chevy Pickup...

The story goes that in the mid '70s my brother traded a car stereo system for a 1946 pickup truck... I wasn't sure if it even ran... but it was the start of a family project. At least three years in the making... it was striped down to the frame and rebui...

That looks like a great family project...

Not sure that I ever rode in the truck after the project was finished... for me the thing was always about the project not the results. Casey

i also own a couple of Pentax I bought brand new in the late 1960’s . They were great cameras on those days. Used to do a lot of photography in those young years, incuding b&w lab. Thank you again for sharing with us these memories! Cheers! Abel

If I remember correctly my brother drove the truck for about 8 years and then sold it... a two seat pickup truck just wasn't practical for the next phase of his life ; ) Casey
