These are actor-trees... they portray mushrooms! Very convincing actually :)

Where I live trees sometimes look like this because deer get hungry in the winter and will eat pretty much anything green and will stand up on hind legs to pick off as much as they can from arbor vitae, etc.

Naaah, the graveyard is closed, so I think it is based on pure " aesthetics ". ;)
