You picked two of the most iconic & legendary hotels to stay in and I'm sure you were well treated. Unfortunately, the Star Ferry is going through hard times due to the lack of tourists and there's talk that it may fold. Hopefully not as it's an HK landmark and one of the best value experiences anywhere.

Always amazes me that people pay the higher rents on the island side, but the best views are from the TST side. Although some of the more recent buildings on the TST side are beautiful.
