.....or a moment it looks like vintage sepia tone which is nice for this subject matter. On second thought I was wondering if the background was a bit over exposed (just my personal opinion). Overall still a nice composition with lots of details. Cheers P...

You are right, it was over exposure hence the background "wash out" hence I try to alter it into sepia

To be honest, I think the effect is overdone ...

The sharpness seems more modern. No need to categorize, just enjoy the images for what they are. In this case portraits of individuals hard at work in order to make a living. I like the 'study'... Nice shot. Casey

you are right "just enjoy the images for what they are", does an image tell story or not, nice to look at, give you some sort of relax feel (for landscape) etc
