Photos from my M10.

In December I picked up the M10, and have been trying to learn how to use it ever since. Here are some photos spanning that time-frame. Please give me your thoughts and criticisms.

1. I would look for opportunities to shoot more "decisive moment" shots. This is where Leica (and having a rangefinder) really shines. Learn to focus by distance for these shots. (This is why there is a clear and easily useable distance track on the lens....

Thank you for those suggestions. I'll be in London in a month. I was debating which camera to bring, this or the "no need to think" D-Lux. I believe I will bring the M and give it a go.

Good 'test' subject matter / techniques for the new gear, I can see that you are enjoying the December "gift"... what are your impressions after the first six months with the M10? Love the color and feel of the second photo, the sensing conveyed in number...

I love it. Focusing was the biggest issue initially but I think I have the hang of it now. The camera is very light and pretty easy to use. It reminds me of what it was like in the "olden" days when I had a semi-automatic SLR. For the most part I've been ...

With my film Leica and Nikon I use a accessory diopter and focus without my glasses... YMMV The Leica M-Viewfinder on my MP is preset by default to -0.5 diopters and the optional corrective lenses are labeled as to their " actual strength ". My current ey...

The first few pix were 28mm; the majority 50. No pp, and I use the Live view due to my poor eyesight. DNG. Thank you very much for the nice words.
