In that vein it would be interesting to photograph some sites such as... The Kyshtym (Mayak) disaster (Sunday, 29 September 1957), the Three Mile Island disaster (Wednesday, 28 March 1979), the Chernobyl disaster (Saturday, 26 April 1986), or the Fukushim...

That but you don’t need to go that far. Nature takes back from man at the edges. It’s everywhere if you stop to look. That’s the amazing thing. We’ve trained ourselves to walk right by most of it.
