The initial attraction for the photo was the covered cross walk light (the road will officially open the end of May)... so I wanted to try and incorporate it in the photo... but in post it didn't seem to work. Good to hear from you... hope all is well on ... 

my bicycle is a little older [ as well ]... the baskets are very convenient for grocery shopping... That bike looks like it has a traditional side kick stand while my bicycle has a center stand that's mounted to the rear dropouts which keeps the rear bask... 

Showing less often makes a better picture. GEO

The crop in the first picture is more aesthetically attractive to me. Good eye . Cheers, Filip

I think the traffic light takes away from the image. 🍻

Since the crossing signal was the initial motivation, it just goes to show that first compositional instincts are not always correct and it pays to work the scene from different angles... as well the young man on the bicycle was the last shot of six that ...
