I understand that the NAMIKI Maki-e Atelier is located at the Hiratsuka Plant in Kanagawa Prefecture, just south of Tokyo... a good reason to visit Japan ; ) Casey .

of some really beautiful maki-e art fountain pens. Big fan of the sheer artistry and I do like fountain pens alot too - though more on urushi ones from Nakaya. Thank you for sharing and lovely collection you have there.

Almost too beautiful to use frequently! How’s the weight and comfort of the YR on hand? I’ve heard it’s reasonably heavy given its brass body.
