the water, the shadow/reflection, but mostly the duck's sharp detail ... and yet the ripples are out of focus. captivating mysterious surrealistic-ish image... Casey

I shot in Netherlands- Zaandam, the lake was duck was very close and the duck just entered h water to create a ripple. šŸ™šŸ¼

I like the photo: although Iā€™m normally not a big fan of having the subject or topic straight in the middle, on this photo it works pretty well .

The focus was more on the duck as there was nothing much around apart from water

just wondering... the water surface and the duck are of similar distance from the camera, yet the duck is in focus, while the water is blur
