The story goes that in the mid '70s my brother traded a car stereo system for a 1946 pickup truck... I wasn't sure if it even ran... but it was the start of a family project. At least three years in the making... it was striped down to the frame and rebui...

I think he drove it for a couple of years when he was in college... picked up a used Volvo station wagon before moving to New York where he worked as a trader in the twin towers... then gave that up to become a trial lawyer... he's semi-retired and still ...

If I remember correctly my brother drove the truck for about 8 years and then sold it... a two seat pickup truck just wasn't practical for the next phase of his life ; ) Casey
