When taking photos do you mentally consider framing and compositions or does 'second nature' come into play?  Do you think or follow your gut?

but since I do mostly street shots I'm more concerned with focusing (especially with a rangefinder). With static shots like landscapes and building etc. then framing and composition takes priority and I can take my sweet time. Best fernando

It does happen very fast with live street scenes.

Staying one or two steps ahead helps, as does picking the background and working a location. Totally agree. ... Manual focus with RF is a challenge but in some ways easier than when using a split screen... some times it comes down to zone focus and a pray...

Sometimes the only way through is experience and luck. Even with landscapes on a tripod the movables need to align - clouds, shadows, tourists... it can be a waiting game. How much is one willing to invest to achieve results. The one off is rare...
