I think it's very difficult to 'judge' and review photography. There are always aspect that attract and distract the viewer that are not related to the actual photo... as viewers, we all bring our baggage, plus a lot depends on the viewers equipment (screen etc.).
№ 01 - "4. Monument Valley Buttes in Arizona". I like the 'flatness' of the image, it reflects (to me) the actual heat and dryness of the setting, which I anyway love. It would have been tempting to pump up the sky (e.g. PL-ish). I enjoy that you didn't do that.
№ 02 - "1. Staircase in the Musée d'Horlogerie in Glasshütte". It's the color of course... For me there is an aspect of looking for the best in the least... and it's a cool place.
№ 03 - "2. Field of flowers near Gerberoy". My nod to the classics, well executed. Print large and hang behind the sofa, we all have of 'traditional' photo that just hits us.
№ 04 - "6. Le Louvre Museum in Paris". I really like the rendering / color of the building and would have rated it higher except for a few bits and pieces - personal issue really.
Very nice set Mike... I enjoyed looking into the photo details.
