for a couple of years, but the timing never worked. Earlier today I got a chance but only had my Android device and no filters :-( I am sure that I will find another chance... B&W conversion done in-camera using "Eiffel" template Thanks for looking, Casey...  

Are those cables holding that massive tree together? -John

I have to take another look regarding the "cables"... this photo was done in HD mode before converting to b&w, I found that is almost always a good choice when shooting with the Android phone cam... Casey .

and one of the historic areas of the area... very near the famous tennis courts where the previous royal couple are alleged to have first met... and judging by the tree, an untouched area... Casey .

the colour version is okay and has its own charm, but I prefer the b&w conversion... Casey .

There are a number of reasons that I was attracted to this area / composition. I would still like to explore different angles with a 50mm lens. Casey .

Really nicely captured the character of the tree. Trees are just amazing to photograph. I have favorites that I photograph all year round as the seasons change. It might seem boring to some but I find them endlessly interesting.

endlessly interesting, and they change season by season... we have tons of leaves on the ground at the moment. Today some members of the "silver" set (a group of retired gents) will help us clean up the yard with power blowers... the second time we have u... 

I love these old twisted trees... btw, I might have a digital 50mm solution later this month... can't wait. Casey .
