As mentioned above, my bad for not time stamping these. These were well before COVID. [nt]

A walk to the coffee shop

 By: Jay (Eire) : June 23rd, 2020-10:35
Two photos taken a while back while walking to the coffee shop from my hotel. I like the second one best. Perhaps it has some of the same loneliness feeling which was also evident in my last post. That feeling from these photos is interesting for me given...

Sad...

Do you see a plus here? Of walking in these areas where it used to be bustling with people?

That’s interesting as I didn’t think of this when posting.

None of the photos I shared have been taken in COVID times, this was a regular morning in maybe March of last year.

Nice photographs.

I suppose, in time, we’ll look back at these photos and remember this strange time we’re all living through. Regards Kev.

Great photos

When I look at them I feel a certain sadness or better put emptiness. Especially in the context of COVID. That makes it very powerful photos to me Thanks for sharing

Words escape me. Maybe stark?

Looks an awful lot like Japan...

the barron trees add to the sense of isolation... I like the multiple levels of the second photograph. Casey

No, but you are not so far off.

It’s walking towards Roppongi a little after passing the InterContinental. Maybe somewhere around Tanimachi Junction.

I also prefer the second.

Seems very quiet for Tokyo pre covid. Was it early morning?

Thanks Fernando. It was probably around 9am, but I agree I caught an unusually quiet time.

I did also wait for the walkway to clear a little.
